Edsel'sMom sent this cute, calico, stuffed kitty to Momma, before she had her eye operation, so she could cuddle it, when she was in the operation place. Momma named her Susie. Susie resides in the living room now, on the banister, or on the back of the couch. If she gets naughty, I toss her down, and, believe me, she does get naughty, so she is on the floor a lot.
Thanks everycat and everyfurlessone, for worrying about me. I am doing much better. I have a special diet now, either Purina EN, or Eukanuba (the vet was out of the EN so substituted Eukanuba.) I am still getting my medicine, until it is gone. I have been sleeping with Momma at night, again, and I even swatted at a string yesterday. I rolled on Daddy's shirt, too. Momma says I am getting back to "my old self," whatever that means.~Mittens Pollypaws~
I was at Derby's party, and it was so much fun. I met so many kitties and they were all so nice.
I am getting brave, and starting to come out of the bedroom. Yesterday, I was sitting in the windowsill, in the diningroom, and Patches came over to me and stood up, so we could nose nuzzle. I am not quite sure if I trust her, she batted her paw at me the other day, and all I wanted to do was snuggle. I saw Mistrie outside last night, so I stood up and we played pawsies through the glass. She is so nice! Mittens, on the other hand, growls and hisses at me, but I know she has been sick.
Please send purrayers for Mittens. I am taking her to the vet. Hopefully, I can get in this morning. She has had a stomach problem on and off for the past 8 months, but it always has gotten better, until 6 days ago. Her other vet said "irritable bowel." I worry now it is more than that. She doesn't seem to keep food down (when she does eat) and isn't using her litter box (pain?) She spends 98% of her time sleeping in the closet. I will update, as soon as I know something. Thanks.
