Thursday This And That

First off all, many of you have asked how close the big forest fire is to us. It is south of us, in Central Idaho, close to the resort town of Ketchum, Idaho and the ski area of Sun Valley. It covers 44,000 acres and is 50% contained. 1400 home have been evactuated. So far, this year, we have been spared, but there are huge fires all around us. Now, I will give the blog back to Patches.

Last night Diane, our pet nanny and new bestladyfurriend from across the road, came ofur and her and Momma watched the big moving picher box. They watched a moo-fie called "Oh, Brother Where Art Thou" with George Clooney that Momma had recorded a while back. They were laffin and laffin and putting their paws togefurr and clapping. I stayed up in my tree and felt a tad crabilated cuz I had trouble napping. Precious and Mittens stayed upstairs and were what Momma calls anti-social.

As you probably know, Diane gave Hunter, the kitty we found when we went camping, her furrever home. Here is her picher. She is becoming quite the lady.

That is about all the news from The Big Piney Woods. Still hot and dry and Momma is hoping for rain. She says she is getting tired of hauling the snake that water comes out of, all ofur the yard.

We know how bad that the fires can be, we had some scary ones not far from us earlier this year. We will pray that those precious firefighters will be able to control this so now one is harmed.

Oh Hunter is so cute! It is good she found her forever home.

Beans are weird with all that laffin adn paw clappin sometimes. But it makes them feel good, so I guess it's not too bad.

I am glad that the fires are not too near you, but it's scary to have them all around. I hope it rains on you, too.

The people can act weird with the TV sometimes. It does make them happy, so that's a good thing, Patches.

we are glad the fires are keeping away furrom yoo cuz it must be furry skeery.
We hate it when the Beans haf their furrends in, and they are being all noisy too. Theer should be a law which sez naps must not be disturbed

that's good that they were laffin' and you shouldn't get crabilatted because of it. there are plenty of places to nap in that big house.
