This is Winter Ghost, the kitty who, luckily, found us afore the snow got so bad. Momma made a nice spot in Hemlock Haven for him/her, where two of the insulated beds are. Momma has to go dig the snow out efurry day from under the deck. She got the idea to feed Winter on a bench of snow. You can see it, from the inside, through the window, real gud. Momma calls it Winter's Homestead. Daddy called and said Winter was out and about in the daytime feeding. Winter has only been seen at night, up until now. The picher was taken through the window, so isn't furry clear. We think the white thing on her side is a ball of snow, it was gone today when she came to feed again. This time she looked at Momma for a furry long time.

Calicomom Toni here with a snow update. We got 8 inches last night and another big storm is coming this afternoon for possibly a foot. By this weekend, it is supposed to warm up to 40, we have our fingers and paws crossed, cuz, enough is enough! All snow records have been broken.

We do not envy you. The pass really got dumped on again and they are getting 8 more inches today. I think they WERE forcasting a blizzard which didn't happen!

Maybe Winter was staring at your mommy to tell her Thank You for taking care of her/him. You momma is wonderful to take care of the outside kitties.

Maybe Winter is starting to feel more comfortable in her surroundings and shows it by coming out during the day. We are so glad you are feeding her.
If it doesn't quit snowing there all the predictions for the "snow-out" date might be wrong!

Wow, your mom caught the elusive Winter Ghost! I bet WG's glad she met your mom.
We hope Winter is starting to feel more comfortable and is coming out because of that like the 3 S's said. We hope that you don't get too much more snow. Having snow higher than your roof must be tough.
