A note from CalicoMom Toni....
We got back from our camping trip, and I have company, so won't be posting until things settle down. I do have a wonderful story though.......
On our way to camp in Washington, on Lake Roosevelt near Hunters, Washington, my son stopped (Meezer Dad) and found a tiny kitten crying in the woods. He left it food and water and drove to where we all were. For four days we talked about and worried about this tiny baby some heartless worm had left to die. On the way home, he drew his sister, Ronda, a map (the same sister that took two shelter cats from here because where she lives, Winnemucca, Nevada, there is no cat shelter. I posted those pictures and follow up pictures earlier this year.) Ronda stopped at the spot and called and called. Suddenly, out popped a tiny tabby, about 4 months old. She put it in her car and drove to our house. I called my pet nanny, Diane, because she had just lost her Chester about a month ago. One look, and Diane went home and got her carrier! I think she is naming her (we think it is a girl) Hunter, after the town where the campground is, and close to where she was found. Diane is an angel!!

That IS a happy ending! It warms my heart whenever I hear a nice story like that. Beans are weird but they are wonderful too.
We love hearing about kitty angels. We think it makes up for the non-evolved beans who are mean to animals.
Long life and happiness to Hunter and her Mum!
Hooray, that is a wonderful story!! We are so happy that you rescued da kitten and that Diane and the kitten found each other!!

Now that is a wonderful happy ending story!
Blessings to Diane for opening her heart. Yay for Hunter to get a new and lovely furrever home.
I like that name, it fits a kittie!
Teriffic!!
Mom rescued a tiny Tuxie yesterday. She is still on her reunion trip but will post about it when she gets back.
What a happy story - and little Hunter must've known to hang around in the same place because she knew her Guardian Angel would come back for her. I hope we can see pictures of her .....
I'm so happy all turned out well - wonderful true story!
What a great story. You made me feel very happy inside.
I am so happy that tiny Hunter has a forever home now. Boo, hiss to the heartless human(s) who left her there in the woods.
Some kitties have a long and winding road to their forever homes. Hunter had a camping trip along the way! Its nice that she is home now. I hope a pic is in our future.
