Please Asplain

Momma tolded me that yesterday was the shortest day of the year. It seemed to me it was just as long as all the ofurr days. I had my nap times, snack times, play times, lovin my Daddy times, biscuit times in Momma's belly, chasing Patches times, watching Mittens hide from me times, watching for Mistrie times, checking out purresents under the tree times, tem-ta-shun treat times, and looking out at the marshmallow world times. Momma putted me in my soliary confinement at 9:00 PM and Daddy let me out at 5:30 AM, just like always. So where does the shortness come in?

Goodness darling, you lead a full and busy life! We don't get this time thing either, and we don't think mom does because she says she still hasn't caught up physically to "fall back" daylight savings time - which is another weird thing.

Precious, I been trying to figure this out, too! It is very confusing.

Yes, I thought they all had the same number of hours, but Momma said that today was the Solstice?

Hi Precious ! Thank you for visiting my blog. Yes, I think you have a lot of Maine Coon. Mom says our fur is a good coat for the winter. We can cover us with our tail if we have to stay outside but I better stay in the house.
Yes, we have Solstice and now we will have every day more daylight.
Today we have here a Winterwonderland , that is rare here in north Germany.

Since the world revolves around us, I don't think that "time" thing affects us at all! As long as our Staff do all we require, what they do with time is completely up to them!

With lots of hugs from Tigger the FBI cat. :)

P.S. Mom says I have to say that Pyewacket and Trixie from tpcatrules wish you a Merry Christmas too. {{hugs}} from all three of us.

I don't know either Precious. Beans get weird about time. Like when they lose and find an hour twice a year.

We unnerstand what yer sayin! But we haf a favorite chair near the big window. An we notice (we are old an 'xperienced) that as days go by, the sunlight is in different places.

Sometimes it is shinin onna chair longer before dinner (when it is gettin cold out) than when it is warmer out.

The Big Thing reminded us today (it is really tricky ta notice the exact day, but it seems he can) that this is the day the sunlight starts stayin longer by little bits.

So we like this day cause it means more sunlight inna windows, an we like that! An it seems to mean that it will get colder fer a wile, but warmer again. We dont unnerstand that part. If there is more sunlight, it oughtta start gettin warm again.

An we want it to get warm outside again soon!

Well, sometimes beans are weird, so don't bother about what they say.

Seems to me most days are short...maybe it's because I nap so much!
