On Sunny Spots

To sleep
Purrchance to dream
Of mice and birds
Of sunny spots galore.

To wake
Purrchance to watch
A mouse or bird
In a sunny spot outside.

To meditate
Purrchance to think
Of mice and birds
In my sunny spot on the floor.

How beautiful! Sometimes I dream of the days when I chased birdies and mice but then I'm glad for my stinky goodness and sunny spots in the windows. :)~ Queen Snickers

YOU do have the heart of a poet.

That's a lovely sunny spot you've got there. It is good dreaming about the birdies and mousies.

Milady Patches,

What a beautiful poem you wrote! It made me smile. You are a gifted poetess!

And you look so lovely, reclining in your sunspot. Purrchance I may join you there, my lovely lady?
