We have a little, bitty, jumping, singing buggy. It is somewhere in the cabin. Momma calls it a cricket. I call it noisy. We also have a toad that gets into this thingy in the wall that is supposed to give us fresh air, and he makes a lot of noise. Momma goes outside and peeks in there and she can see him. She calls him Prince. Why would you call a toad Prince, I wonder.

Thats a nice fuzzy picture of you. It makes my momma want to rub her hands through your fur and scratch your ears.
I have heard if you kiss a toad, he could turn into a Prince. But I have also heard that you could get warts from touching a toad. So, I am not sure what you should do. It seems worth the risk of getting a wart to try to find a Prince.
Leave the toad and catch the cricket perhaps? I love your Thursday Thirteen, so true, and your Mom's poems are great:) xxx
we heard toads can be yummy too! as well as crickets!!
Dat is kinda weerd cuz our mom called da toad in da basement "prince" too...aren't beans weerd.
Hi girls
My mum posted some pictures of our mutual friend English Daisy today, so, if you want to see them, come over to my blog!
Love & purrs
Fat Eric
critters are comin' in from the cold, that's for sure!
Yeah, those little critters are looking for some place warm.
Precious, Moms are just plain weird, so don't worry about it. Want to play race around like your butt's on fire?
Purrrrrrs,
your bud Pepi
I like crickets. They sound so cheery to me. Toads are another thing. I hope the toad doesn't eat the cricket. They are just trying to get warm.
ps: Most of my fancy fashions come from a place called "Build-a-Bear"! They make some really cute stuff and it does not cost a lot of green papers.
All of us Ballicai like crickets! They are great fun to catch, and almost as much fun to eat.
I would love for you to come over and nap with me, Milady Patches -- we will snuggle extra-close.
My rumbliest purrs and love,
Your Brainball.
If yer toads are like English toads, yoo need to leave them alone, cuz they taste nasty and make yer mouf go all frothy. Krikkits are grate though. They're crunchy and delishus. Yoo want to go and catch him. Mmmm yummy.
My dear Patches,
I have given you an award, Milady -- come check out the Ballicus Blog and see!
I hope you are staying warm! I would love to snuggle some more with you.
Love and rumbly purrs from Your Brainball.
Pwince? Perhaps you've got to kiss him!
