Way Too Cold

Patches: Momma, it is way to cold, just look at the the temperature thing.
Mom: Yes, spring took a LOA.
Patches: What is a LOA; Lack of Ambition?
Mom: No, silly, leave of absence; it will be back.
Patches: Momma, you said the temperature thing is wrong.
Mom: Yes, you have to subtract five degrees.
Patches: That makes it almost WINTER!
Mom: It doesn't matter, you aren't going out anyway.
Patches: But, Momma....
Mom: You need to practice for the olympics.
Patches: Momma?
Mom: Yes, now what is it?
Patches: Your nasty urchins aren't even growing. Look at them. The only thing that is growing is weeds and the grass.
Mom: Be patient, later this summer I will show you; they will have pretty orange flowers.
Patches: I still think those nasty urchins look pretty sad.

It was that cold here last week, and now it's really hot, so spring should come back to you. The cold air blowy thingie broked over the weekend!

It was rainy here this weekend but I think it was warmer than earlier this week. Momma said we probably get the weather a few days afore you (I'm not sure how *that* works) so probably it will start to not be so cold, although it rained most of the weekend. It's nice and sunny today.

We had over 90F + high humidity here in Milwaukee. Much too hot for this time of year. Now the storms have moved in and we're happy to be inside in the A/C.

We're purrsonally getting tired of the rain and the humidity here in Houston. We can feel it through the windowpanes, and we don't like it one bit. The human pet says that this is when mosquitos go nutso, and we believe her since she has the red spots all over her legs. Icky!

It's 97 degrees here in Pennsylvania. Good thing we have AC!

Our hot weather has gone away. It is supposed to be more normal tomorrow. We is getting rain right now. I can just lay near the window and watch and listen to the rain drops.
