Happy Memorial Day

First of all, many people have been asking for Edsel's Mom's address to send cards. We asked Diva Kitty's Mom and she suggested we send them all to her and she will forward them weekly. Let's all send cards and letters to Susan. Use the following address:

Edsel's mom
C/O Sophia
PO Box 1621
Benicia, CA 94510

It is a typical Memorial Day Weekend in the Big Piney Woods, rain. Here is a picture of Mistrie, snoozing through a shower.

I took this picture a few days ago. The grill is all ready to be fired up......rain, rain, go away.

Mum has fired up the grill for the past three or four nights. I 'spect that it will be going again tonight. Plus we have a covered patio, so mum can grill sun or rain. And she has grilled in the rain.

That is a good idea. Thanks for posting the address. Sorry about the rain. We have had sun, rain and freak hailstorms in London today, it is just weird.

It's hot here, but we had lots of rain last week. It's like we went from winter to summer wifout spring. The panters took off sumfing called "downspouts" just in time for record "downpours" an Mom was worried bout our found-nation. You've made a lovely snug spot for Mistrie Rose, an your deck looks much nicer than ours. I'd like to check it out during the Catolympics.

Dad hasn't cooked outside yet. Mom says efurry winter, there are mousies that build their nest in the BBQ! I wouldn't mind cooked mousey, but Mom an Dad want them OUT of there before they cooks bean food.

    Happy Memorial Day :)

Oh, and Buddah and I are in Vacaville, CA...if the People spit real hard, they can hit Diva Kitty's house from here. Unless it's windy, and then the spit would backtrack on them and hit them in the face. And that would just be funny.

Can't you just mentally picture all the blogging cats sitting out and lounging on that deck taking it easy in the shade. -SSS's mom

Happy Memorial Day pretty ladies! Thanks for posting the info on how we can send a card to Edsel's Mom. Also, I know your Momma keeps wanting a kitten, so you have to remind her how much work they are! Teaching not to scratch, not to nibble, making sure everyone gets along, not to mention the endless energy and need to play! I'm here to play, but I don't always want to be bitten and chased and kicked. Harlie gets into absolutely everything she shouldn't. She is furry furry cute and fun, but A LOT of work. Mom and Dad say NO MORE KITTENS for a long long while. I agree.
