More On Mistrie
Scooby, Shaggy, and Scout made the following comment the other day, after Mistrie helped Edsel:
"Dear sweet Mistrie Rose! What a good girl."
Yes, she is a good girl; sweet and funny. She has figured out how to open the screen on the French doors, by hooking her claw in and shifting her weight. She opens it about 4 inches and sticks her head inside. My husband put a latch on the screen now, as I was afraid Patches would dart out.
The other day, Patches was on the inside of the screen, she was on the other and they were playing pawsies. One morning, Mittens was sitting in the window sill in the window next to the door, chasing a bug. Mistrie got up on her back legs and peeked inside. When she saw Mittens was having fun, she decided she would play too! She found something on the deck, a stick or leaf and started chasing it.

She sure looks like a sweetie. She did a great job helping Edsel. Sounds like she wants to come inside. She has such a wonderful world outside though. Bet she tells the girls all kinds of things bout outside when she plays paws frew the screen.

It must be so adorable watching the girls play pawsies with each other. If you ever get a picture of it, make sure to post it! :)

That was so incredibly kind and daring of her to look after Edsel in his time of need! As for the screen door, I bet she was just trying to invite Patches and Mittens out to play - once again, being thoughtful on her part.

We think Mistrie might be considering becoming an indoor/outdoor kitty. What a nice girl she is! We like to hear about kitties who get along together.

Mistrie looks so furry sweet! Maybe she is considering a venture to the inside to see what's going on!

Mistrie is getting closer (and more ready) to going inside. We're hoping it happens this summer.
