It is with great sadness, we say farewell to another blogging kitty. Grandpa Norton went to Rainbow Bridge yesterday at 4:40 AM. Our deepest sympathy and thoughts go out to
Mary and the Meezer Tails in this time of dreadful sorrow. We know he will be back, they always make their presence known to those who love them. We also know he will be playing happily in the daisies, chasing butterflies and napping in the green grass with Ralphie. Go to

18 years is a very long time in cat years. It's a lot longer than some marriages last nowdays.
We lost 2 littermate sisters at 14 years and were heartbroken. We understand the pain.

Mom's eyes are leaking again. She says the part of cat blogging that's hardest to deal with is our "mortality." Then she hugs me until I squirm. (She doesn't dare try that with Ms. Bonnie)
I also feel very sad about Norton. I wanted to post a comment there, but I couldn't because I am just a reader, not a blogger. My thoughts are with all the Meezers and their Mom. It is so very hard to say goodbye to a friend that you have had for so long.
Aww, I am sorry to hear about your kitty friend. It is sad when we lose a special friend. My mommy just adopted me a few days ago because she was lonely without a kitty at her house. Me and mom will be back again for another visit
