It is a typical Memorial Day Weekend in the Big Piney Woods, rain. Here is a picture of Mistrie, snoozing through a shower.
I took this picture a few days ago. The grill is all ready to be fired up......rain, rain, go away.

Mum has fired up the grill for the past three or four nights. I 'spect that it will be going again tonight. Plus we have a covered patio, so mum can grill sun or rain. And she has grilled in the rain.
Tanks for posting the address for Edsel's Mom. We hadded a nice piknic yesterday and today it is really hot and sunny so we will just lay around and catnap. Hope you gets some sunshine and can a nice cookout.
We jus did a double take -- Mistrie looks furry much like our cousin Gumby who has made a speshul guest appearance on our blog.

It's raining here too if it makes you feel better. We're pretty bummed.
It's hot here, but we had lots of rain last week. It's like we went from winter to summer wifout spring. The panters took off sumfing called "downspouts" just in time for record "downpours" an Mom was worried bout our found-nation. You've made a lovely snug spot for Mistrie Rose, an your deck looks much nicer than ours. I'd like to check it out during the Catolympics.
Dad hasn't cooked outside yet. Mom says efurry winter, there are mousies that build their nest in the BBQ! I wouldn't mind cooked mousey, but Mom an Dad want them OUT of there before they cooks bean food.

Oh, and Buddah and I are in Vacaville, CA...if the People spit real hard, they can hit Diva Kitty's house from here. Unless it's windy, and then the spit would backtrack on them and hit them in the face. And that would just be funny.

Also, I know your Momma keeps wanting a kitten, so you have to remind her how much work they are! Teaching not to scratch, not to nibble, making sure everyone gets along, not to mention the endless energy and need to play! I'm here to play, but I don't always want to be bitten and chased and kicked. Harlie gets into absolutely everything she shouldn't. She is furry furry cute and fun, but A LOT of work. Mom and Dad say NO MORE KITTENS for a long long while. I agree.
