Trixie Is Gone

I just read, on the Meezers site, that Trixie went to the Rainbow Bridge at 5:15 this morning. My post tomorrow will be dedicated to her, with a poem, and there will be a ceremony here in the Big Piney Woods at 6:00 PST tomorrow night. Please come.

Unfortunately Momma has a late appointment, so we won't get to come tomorrow. We will think of her.

Mittens, are you doing okay? If you would like a change of scenery you are welcome to come here for a day and we can talk as much as you would like (or not) about your bestest friend.

Momma cried big salty tears when she saw this.

We were so sad to hear Trixie isn't with us any more. Mom is still crying. We put up a memorial sorta poem thingy for her. We're glad she's not in pain no more, but we miss her. We're concerned about Mittens. How are you Mittens? Gree's gonna come over and visit with Mistrie and check on Mittens. I hope it's no bother. If Mittens wants, we can all stop in at the Meezers and give Sammy and Miles and Meezer Mom and Dad headbutts. We'll all be here tomorrow night.

Mittens, you can come over anytime to sit with the boys. Miles is having a very hard time with this - he has been yowling and crying all day. Trixie's blankie is still out, and you are welcome to come and snuggle on it with Miles and Sammy. - Meezer Mom

We are furry upset about the news. It's so sad that lovely Trixie is no longer with us. :(

Mittens - we know Trixie was your bestest furriend so you must have been crying all day. Poor little Mittens. :(

We've just been over to the Meezers blog to pay our respects. We won't be able to make the ceremony because of timezones, but we've posted a little tribute to Trixie on our blog.

    Purrs and headbutts,
