A Purr For Momma

Momma: Mittens, do you have a purr for me? I bet you do, even if it is hidden deep inside.

Mittens: Yes, Momma, I always have a purr for you. Sometimes it takes a while to bring it up, it get buried kind of deep in my purr region, especially if I am not feeling too good.

Momma: Mittens, you have such a special place in my heart.

They say cats purr, even when they are very sick. I guess I tend to disagree, in Mittens' case anyway. If she doesn't purr for me, I know she is sick, otherwise, she sings me a great song. It starts deep inside her, growing with each breath, resounding with love.

Oh Mittens purr big!

Momma thought that was interesting. Georgia purrs MORE when she's sick. She purrs for awhile when she is petted and is feeling good and then rumbles away. However, when she's sick, she tends to just purr and purr and purr all the time.

Mittens must have a beautiful purr, she is such a beautiful girl :)

I want to thank you for the wonderful poem for my Georgia. It is so, so sweet. When I make a memorial page for her I want to include it.
Thank you again..

Beezer's purr has magical healing for me. He just seem to know when I need a kitty hug and a good purr. I've never heard a more loving sound.

When I look into his eyes, I'm sure that I can see the pleasure he has in knowing that he has made me feel better.

Mittens looks very thoughtful in dat picshure. There's nuffing better than a nice loud purr (somefin I hasn't quite figured out how to do yet).

that's a beautiful pikshur of Mittens. Grampa Norton usded to purr 24 hours a day - really loud ALL the time - 'cept when he was feeling poorly. That's how mommy knowed he was sick. When he stoppded purring, she would take him to the v-e-t.
