Beezie wrote the following in my comments section a while back:"maybe she (Mistrie) remembers you from long ago before you came to live in the cabin. Ya know, she may have been talking to the fairies that led the mombean to you."
I wondered about that, as the fairies were down in the Corner Woods where me and my two little ones were hiding. There was a special purrty one with a purple gossamer dress and yellow long hairs. She liked to peek at us through the leaves.
So, here I am asking her, and YES, the purrty fairy talked to Mistrie about us. Mistrie said she meditated for Momma to come down and save us, and she did. She said the fairy told her not to worry about my babies, they are fine and happy!
Momma says Mistrie is a magical forest cat.

Oh, I think you are very right!! Mistrie is a magical forest cat, and I think she is secret friends with all the fairies in the forest. I think the reason Mistrie likes the Outside so much is because she has to protect the fairies. That is an important job.
We think there isn't much that happens in those woods that Mystrie doesn't know about! Maybe she does know youfrom before. We're glad she told you the kits are fine. You were so young.....at what age is a female kitty able to have her first litter?
I think Mistrie is furry happy that you are living in the cabin now. I bet the fairies are too.

What a beeyoutiful story!! Made our Maw's eyes go leaky. And she loves the picture of Mistrie on the edge of the doorway.
Smokey sheds horribly. When we brush him, the furs just fly but they don't stay in the brush. Three different brushes all have the same result. He's a true "Pigpen" from the Peanuts comic strip. Always in a cloud of fur.
