Big Foot??

Thanks to all the kitties who signed our comments yesterday, offering suggestions as to what the strange "creature of the Big Piney Woods" might be.

After eliminating all but one possibility, we decided it had to be BIG FOOT. Cat Crossing's Dad, or one of the five kits, thinks that is what it is; they live in Colorado, much like our mountain state, and are familiar with this creature. There is documented proof of it prowling the Pacific Northwest.

After asking Mistrie, in length, about her experiences in possible sightings, we feel pretty confident in our speculation. She didn't seem to want to talk much about it, so we didn't press her for details. She did ease our mind, somewhat, when she said "it is perfectly harmless to other furry creatures." The furless ones need to heed this warning.

Photo taken of Mistrie, as I interviewed her; note huge eyes as she talks about her experiences.

Oh, my! It must be a very scary creature for such a wise, brave kitty to look so alarmed! We are VERY glad we are indoor kitties living on the East Coast. Although, maybe the Bigfoot PROTECTS kitties and other animals without them knowing, like the way the Rangers protected the hobbits...

Oh, Wow. A Ranger in your backyard! How cool.

But if he bothers you, Mistrie, just come stay with us for awhile. Although it is getting hot again.....

We think you should still be careful around that Big Foot thingie. Even if it's friendly to furry creatures. Why do you think it's hanging around your house?
