It's summer and it's awful hot
Happy, we are surely not
Our fur is holding in the heat
The one thing cool, our kitty feet.

Find a shady spot, Mistrie! Can your mom put ice in your water? That might help a little too on this icky hot days.

Mistrie, hidin in the Big Piney Woods in the shade might help. *nods* That's what Gree and Pepi do, hide in the shade (Gree says HI and sends purrs). I likes your poem a lot. I'll purrint it out and give Gree a copy. I bets she'll like it too.

Oh Ms Mistrie, that is a very gud poem. And what a luvly piksher of yu. Someone sed to put ice in thuh water - I asked mine mum to do that for me and she did - it helps a lot. Keep cool if yu can - it seems to be hot orl over thuh wurld.
