Supervising

Yesterday morning was very cold and windy. A day to stay inside for sure.
Mom said, "I am going out to meet the day." What duz this mean?
According to her, and I quote, "Meeting the day, in A State of Winter, means putting on a heavy coat, boots, scarf, and mittens and grabbing the shovel. It seems, the snow plow, for some reason known only to the county of Bonner, feels the need to push snow into our already plowed driveway. If they feel we need additional work, they will fly by the driveway, on the mailbox side, and completely wipe it out. It will be found in the ditch, banged up, and the post broken. This happens, on an average, four times a winter, (more or less) depending on amount of snow and how heavy it is. Dad has to go out and do a quick fix until spring."

I am wondering........why do they push the snow around, anyway? Don't they like it spread evenly and feel the need to pile it? Guess we could go help....we are good at that sort of thing...on second though, think I will supervise.

I sat on the TV and watched as Dad cutted down that big aspen tree too. I shall supervise as the purrsons clean that up and put it in the woodshed. My work is never done!!

Patches, you are a good supervisor. What a pretty view you have! It is chilly and rainy here in Texas today. Not at all fun. All the birds and squirrels are hiding somewhere and there's nothing to look at. I think I will see if Mom will start a fire. Nothing like a good cushion in front of a good fire...

What a lovely picture of you Patches. You are a very pretty kitty. The snow looks nice too. We haven't had any snow in London this winter, except for a couple of days which we missed out on because me and my mum and dad were staying at Devon Grandma's house.

Don't People do the funniest things? Around here everyone is going crazy about some game on the tube called football. Some team that wears black and gold. The twin girls are annoyed about it because there is too much talk at school. They asked the Cat Couch to get them seabird shirts.

We have not had much snow. People keep talking about what a warm winter we've been having.

I, too, must supervise everything that goes on in my house. No wonder I'm so tired.

Patches, I think people do that thing with the snow because they're just frustrated cats without any litter to kick around.

We got some of that same weather. Mom says it's 15 degrees and the way she said it we assume that's cold out. We got snow too. We can't figure out that snow moving thing either. They move it from one place to another & are never satisfied! Our plows are trained the same as yours. They wait till everyone gets the driveway shoveled the plug up the bottom of it with knww deep snow. Then the people go move it again. Strange.

We had lots of snow and GIGANTIC noisy boxes went by our windows again and again pushing snow so the smaller boxes could roll around. Then Dad and my boy went out and uncovered the places they walk. I think the snow was prettier. And Patches, I think you're bootiful.

We think the snow for humans is like cat liter to us. Maybe they push the snow around after they use the bathroom in it! Don't know why they would go to the bathroom outside though, it looks really cold. This is just our theory of course.

We have the same kind of snowplow operators around here in Pennsylvania. My human wants to sabotage all plows big enough to knock down mailboxes. Silly human, trying to control what he can't control. I keep trying to teach him the calm Way of the Cat, but does he listen? Nuh-uh...
