Full Moon

Mine Mom says last night was the full moon. She says that is why I just won't settle down. I jumpy on the bed over and over, walk on the purrsons, cooing and making night noises.

Then it is time to make Mittens join me. She is always so prissy and never does anything fun when it comes to bedtime crazies. She is such a snot, she doesn't want Mom and Dad yelling at her, or getting upset, so she snuggles into Mom and makes biscuits into the covers and does her high cry, then tunnels under the covers and purrs. If she does jump down off the bed, in the night to get a drink, I chase her big time, and she always jumps back up on the bed next to Mom for purrtections.

So.......I just run round by myself, chirping, tail held high. Then I sit in the window and meditate, the moon shining on my sleek fur, listening to the coyotes howl....... It is a good night...

Coyotes, indeed?!? Scary. Those are scarier than doggies!

Love the painting - how sweet!
