Ever since I won the Pawtrait Viewers' Choice Award at 2CarolinaCats, Patches has been so mean! She keeps chasing after me and stalking me (is there a stalking law for kitties?) It all boils down to the fact she is jealous of my neat toesies. Of course, she does it when our Mom and Dad aren't around. Well, she didn't even make the finals and me and Mistrie did! She says over and over, "my toes are cute, too," and then she looks at them and licks them. Poor looser.
Mittens
Note From Mom: There is another kitty eating out of Mistrie's bowl of food. She/he is a tabby with lovely brown rings and light colored eyes, very young looking. I have only seen him/her once, but noticed the food bowl going down and thought it was our raccoon visitors. We live far enough away from other people that it is unlikely it belongs to anyone; nobody that I know of has a kitty close enough to visit. Will keep you posted.

You'll find out who your true friends are now that you're a contest winner. You may have cats coming out of the woodwork, claiming they are long-lost relatives in search of a hand-out (perhaps the new feral cat is one?). You will also be plagued with the insecurities and jealousies of other cats.
Keep your furry chin up. Patches will get over this and love you like she always has.
To my dear Kukka......
I am in big trouble if Patches will "love me like she always has!" *looks at paws and decides to hide*
Too bad there isn't a stalking law. I could use one too. My little brother stalks me just cuz he says it is fun. HISS!
You do have very nice toes!! I am sure Patches does too. All kitties have nice toes. Mama says mine are like velveteen. Purr!
I have been thinking this for awhile: We need a club for kitties with coat of many colors like us. I am a blue and cream dilute tortie. With 'tude to match! Do you know of any clubs for kitties of our colors?
Mittens, I am sure Patches will get over her jealousy if you share your prize with her. What sort of name could you give to your new outdoor kitty?
To Fat Eric:
Mom is calling the new kitty Stranger. This is only temporary. We have no idea if the kitty will stay or not. Mom says names evolve (what does that mean?) and sometimes it takes a while.
Oh oh. another stray kitty to worry about. Hopefully Mistrie doesn't be too possessive & claim the yard as her territory.
We say hooray for your toes! That's a very pretty picture of you Mittens. You have such big eyes.
Oh please don't be upset, Miss Patches. Of course you have beyootiful toesies too, efurrycat does. It's just that this time a few more cats thought Mittens' picture was better. We will be furry upset if we hurted anycat's feelings with our contest.

PS we're having a party on Saturday, hope you will come!
Ohhh, a mysterious visitor. Keep us posted. Mittens, Patches will get over her hissyfit about your toes.

You do have beetifull toesies, and efurry face. Lovely coloring. My brother Ping thinks you are the cat's meow! (ME thinks he has a crush on you!) And thank you for visitin' our little blog. We love visitors!

With such beautiful toesies posed like that too now wonder you won the prize. Maybe Patches just wants to get close enough to touch them (but I wouldn't be too trusting though). The new visitor must be around to honor your toesies too!
Dear Mittens, may I know if it is normal for calicos to have cute toes like yours? I know of one calico ( no whites, jsut blacks and yellows? ) who has funny toes too.
A new kitty? Oh, wow. Maybe this one will come in?!?!?!
Patches, we am furry sorry that you didn't make the finals with Mittens and Mistrie Rose. But we think you are so very beautiful all over, not just your toes. - Miles
Congrats on the Pawtraits! Love your toes.
Mom wants to kiss your head, sheesh!
Good luck with other kitty.
