I am afraid Momma is loosing it. She listened to a whole bunch of songs at Amazon.com and then placed an order. It came the other day, and now she is playing the songs on the computer. They are two CD's from Jerry Lee Lewis! This guy is nuts. We have to cover our ears. Momma says she used to just love his music and now she is even DANCING!!!! She is nuts too, we think. Do any of your furless ones know about this guy and his piano? Momma said that her and Daddy went to see him at the Minnesota State Fair back in the 60's and he got on top of the piano!! Some women sitting behind them left because they said he was "vulgar."I am going to hide in the closet.

Mittens, in some ways humans are like cats -- they will do what they want. That's something I'm sure you'll understand. As long as your Momma doesn't get too tired from dancing to feed you, let her have her fun.

The worst is when they sing along! Oh, no, wait. The worst is when they make you dance WITH them. How embarassing!

We have LOTS of embarrassing music here. Mum sings what she calls G&S patter songs. It's VERY disturbing...
Maybe if she sang "goodness gracious great paws of Mittens!" it wouldn't be so bad. But really, I think this behavior strikes all our moms or dads. When my mom starts singing or dancing, I just tolerate it until it's over. Even if she makes me dance with her.
Humans have some weird musical tastes. My mum plays lots of songs from musicals and my dad likes Bach, so not really compatible! I prefer the Bach, it is not so noisy.
We don't know how to contact Sue but my humans would like to thank her for the invitation to tea. They have a busy day tomorrow but would like to meet her and Daisy sometime. She could come and make a fuss of ME!!!!

Sometimes beans just do strange things, like dance around and sing songs. I don't think there's anything to worry about here Miss Mittens.

Mum says she remembers him, but never really cared for his music. Mum is like Fat Eric's mum and listens to show tunes, and other vocal singers who sing the standards.
My mom goes through these stages where she drags out her Doors cds, and one night she rented Purple Rain (Prince) and started yelling and clapping and dancing all around - we all ran and hid!
Great balls of fire is there a whole lotta shakin' goin' on? We know your pain. We all go out on our porch when our Human is home alone and brings out her old cassette tapes. We keep our fingers crossed that none of the neighbors call the authorities to commit her or something.
