When Is A Toy, Not A Toy??

Momma unplugged this lamp and wrapped the cord around it. What fun!!

She kept telling me it wasn't a toy, and finally took it away. I thought EVERYTHING was a toy.

You are right! EVERYTHING is a toy. Especially if it is long and looks fun to play with.

    Everything is a toy!
    But humans think otherwise.

Toys are defined by anything that is left out where we can see it and get at it. If peoples don't like this, then they need to be more careful.

Well, now your Momma should know what she can get you for Xmas. Preferably one that comes in a big box.

He-he-he, my person looked at me this past summer and said, "If I buy a new lamp shade will you promise not to smash it?". I didn't answer, but I haven't knocked the lamp over either.

I would have jumped on the table, and tipped the whole thing over. Mum has even taken off the lampshade on one lamp in the guest room. I can't tip it over nearly as easy then.

It's a fundamental cat law: anything that a cat can get his/her paws on is a toy. I think that the People know this, but they forget it sometimes. Then it's up to the cats to remind them about it.

Everyfing is a toy...they just don't know it!

If it's not supposed to be a toy, then they shouldn't make it so toy-like!

You asked Derby about the golden paw. My OTW made mine, so I could honour KC and her real golden paw, for being a tough-a** tortie, I think Derby's mom did the same. There's a couple other kitties who's peoples did too.

But of course everything is a toy! Humans can be so silly sometimes.

Of course it is a toy. My mommy sprays something called "Bitter Apple" on cords n stuff because they looks like so much fun to bite. I don't do that anymore.

Precious, you have a beautiful fluffy tail, but I guess that's beside the point. Um, what was the point?

I think your mom's just confused, Precious. She really should know by now that everything is a toy.

Hi Precious Flower - aren't the rules hard to learn when they keep changing them on you? Of course EVERYTHING is a toy. Silly humans. We should compare notes more often. Thanks for being my friend, Maggie Fu
