Before And After

For those of you who haven't seen any before and after pictures, here is Precious, before I trapped her. She was near starvation, all bones and very thin fur.

In two months she has gained two pounds, her fur is thicker and she is growing a collar around her neck of white fur; also long fur between her toes. She went from never playing to playing almost constantly. She is very special to me and my husband.

Reading about her soothes my heart over the Tiger disaster. She is such a pretty, alert little girl.

Amazing what a little TLC can do for anyone. Not having regular and good food, plus nursing kittens had taken its toll on her body. It was fate that Precious came into your life and you into hers.

Love to all the ladies of the Big Piney Woods (two and four footed.)

Just a gorgeous little girl. She has grown to trust you very much. It's a rewarding feeling to watch them learn to relax and be happy inside. (Mistrie, are you listening?)

This is a timely post to me. I found a mother and kitten under my deck and have them in the house (after vet) now. the mother is very thin and unkempt. The vet said she exhausted herself taking care of the kitten. I alredy have 2 cats and did't know what to do. Will just take one step at a time.

Precious,
I hope that we can be friends, even if ya don't want a 'boyfriend'. You could come over and we could play with the feather on a stick and have a snack of tuna together. And if you like to be brushed, my person has a great soft brushie that makes me purr I bet she'd brush you too!

Oh Precious, I'm so glad your Mom caught you. What a beauty you have grown into. You don't have to worry about hunger anymore.

About the question you asked me....!

Its hard to tell at this moment. She is very young and still developing.
There are many breeds that have the same kind of fur.
For this moment I say she has not Norwegian blood. The eyes are too round, her ears too small, the face too round and her nose is not straight. I believe she will not be big.

But she is a very lovely cat. And people who recue cats have a warm place in my heart.

our mom got all leaky when she saw your before and after pictures--so sad, so happy all at once.

you are so darling, sweet precious! we are all furry glad that your guardian angels led you into calicomom's path so she could become your mom.

you are a wonderful addition to the ladies of the big piney woods, and when our mom gets a little less dependent on us as blankets, maybe we could come cuddle for a while, just to say how glad we are that you're truly "home" now.
