Wow that is very cold. It is way too cold for us Louisiana cats. It was about 40 degrees here last night, and we thought that was way cold.

Oh that is furry furry cold. It's good you have a fire thingy like that to lay in front of!

Now that's good livin'!
ps: Our momma said if she was there she would move some big pillows over and curl up right there with her books. She would too! Then she'd fall asleep.

yeah, lady! that's the good stuff!! it was 28 here last night, which is QUITE enough, thankyewverrymuch. the field next door was covered with sparkly white stuff (strains of "dixie" in mom's whistling . . . "early on one frosty morning,")
we lay in our chairs on the micro-fluff comforters mom bought for us (thanks, mom!) with the chairs facing the wood stove, so we turn ourselves occasionally to get an even toasting! YAY for woodstoves!!

Oh my, it's a nice 65 here. Please feel free to teleport over if you'd like to warm up a bit. The sealions are very active today because of the rain last night and DKM has a fire on and a new blanket for me to scent on the daybed...

I hopes all the ladies of the Big Piney Woods stay warm. That heaty box thing looks interesting. We don't have one of those.

Wow, now that is what I call cold. I think the coldest Mom said it was around here was 19 degrees and I wasn't around then. Mom talks about the arctic blast that came through California and blasted the the whole state with cold, a long time ago. Patches and I are happy that our stove is going and keeping us warm. We don't have a door on ours like that.
