I love azaleas! We used to have some when we lived in Virginia. We don't have any now though.

Mum is drooling over the picture. Her azalea's aren't nearly as nice. But they only have been in the garden for one and two years. Mum says the buns like to nibble on them.

That looks like a deciduous (sp?) azalea, which is my absolute favorite. We don't have one planted here but we have one at the grandbeans.

We love azaleas and Mom likes to photograph us with them. They're long past blooming here. We need to get Mom to participate in Flower Friday since she's such a gardening and flower nut. The common daylilies that Dad refers to as "freeway lilies" are blooming now. Some other perennials in bloom in our yard now are asiatic lilies, monarda, bellflower, clematis, and shasta daisies.

Flower power!
