Camping Xperience

Well, we don't recommend this camping xperience to anycat! Thankfully, Momma says from now on the Pet Nanny across the street will take care of us. Here is how it went....

I was put in the carrier first and transferred to the house on wheels. Then Momma tried to catch Precious! She got a nice long scratch out of it, that is all I am going to say on the subject. Precious was left in the carrier, I was put on the bafroom floor on a towel. By the time we got to the Upper Pack River, I was foaming real bad cuz the road made me so sick. Momma felt awful, of course.

I got used to the house on wheels real fast and liked to splore it, but Precious hid under the table. I liked looking out the windows at the new scenery, Precious hid under the table. At 1:00 AM Precious decided to come out, jumped up on the bed, and went into crazy mode until 4:00 AM. Momma says now she amembers why Precious goes into the bedroom at night.

Here are some pichers of us. Tomorrow Momma takes ofur and shows some scenery pichers.

i don't know why your Mom would think you'd like to travel. dogs like to travel but i don't think most cats do. well, at least you gave it a try. it's good you have a cat nanny.

They will be sad not to have any kitties with them next time, but it sounds like it is for the best!

Last night on the local news they showed a tuxedo kitty who travels the roads in a BIG METAL MONSTER wif 18 wheels. His Dad made a special window for him up in the cab so he can look out. They also showed him on the dashboard right over where his Dad sat behind the wheel. I wonder why some of like to travel and others don' Momma wuz thinkin about tryin to take us on a campin trip in a moving house too, but Daddy doesn't wanna try it.

I have a kitty friend who lives in an 18 wheeler! He loves it and sits on the dashboard and watches the world go by.
I, however, would not care to ever get in a moving machine ever, ever, again! AND I'll have to get in one in less than 9 weeks to move to O Hi O!

I love to roam all over the yard and hunt birds... Misty dog has gone in the wheel mobile lots of times.. Not me... seems every time I go, there is a Vet at the end of the road.
Nope, I will stay home and have the house to myself. Grandson stops by to make sure I have plenty of water and food, and gives me a hug. Misty, I see her so happy to get into the mobile...but I hear the staff complain when they get home, how much she crys and runs around the seat.. that doesn't sound like fun to me... ah, the house to that sounds good.

I think I'd like to try that! That way we could all go on vacation together.

I hope Precious gets used to it.

Sorry the camping trip didn't work out as well for the kittie group. Maybe it is better just to be home. I haven't been on a car ride longer than 30 minutes. Then only in the carrier and safely belted in too.

When Mom and Dad go tent camping, they sometimes see people in RVs who have their cats. Mom wishes that we would like to travel, but we just want to STAY HOME. Sorry it didn't work out for you two.

I'm sorry the road trip made you sick, Patches. I'm glad you got over it, though. Precious doesn't seem to like change much, but then, most kitties don't. It's too bad that she went nuts from 1-4am. I hope the ride back isn't as bad.

It's too bad that you got sick. It sounds like you would be better off staying home, although I bet you would miss your mom.

You two look so cute in the camper. I used to tavel back and forth when I was little. Mom and Dad were motel managers and they would go home on time off so I traveled with them. Haven't done that in a long time except to the VET. I wonder if I would like to go somewhere like camping. Dad says we are always camping because of where we live. I bet I already told you this. Mom loved the pictures of your camp site.
