Not Fair

We had some company, but they didn't stay here, overnight. It is a good thing, as I am having to put up with this tiny, skinny, girlcat, who has taken over the bedroom and comes waltzing out at night, like she owns the place. I put the growl and hiss on her, but she just looks at me. Most of the time, she hangs on the end of the bed, but when the sun goes down, she prowls around. You can see my hair is simply standing on end. This is so not fair.

Is she being nice to you ladies? If she is I think you should give her a chance 'cause sometimes its nice to have a new friend in the house. Even if you have to growl & hiss at first so she knows who was there first.

Mittens,
You are a beautiful girl! You have to protect your turf, but we think you have to try to accept the new kitty. She doesn't have the advantage of being calico and she needs a loving home.
Anytime you need to escape, you can visit us and cuddle on the bed with Mum and us.

Life's not fair, Ms. Mittens! Would you have prefered that Moma had left the poor little kitty cold and hungry on the street? You wouldn't like it, I'm sure - as I keep reminding my lot, who are all rescues and would know. Cut Precious and Moma some slack, will ya?

I know that you feel your territory is being invaded, but please try to accept the new kitty. By all means let her know who is the boss, but try to get to know her, too. She was cold and hungry and I know you wouldn't want that.

Mittens, it is hard when invaders come, but Precious needs a good home and your beans have more than enough for all 4 of you kitties. Teach her how to respect the space and I know that you will learn to like her soon.

I am furry glad you had such a good thought about Previous Flower Mittens. I bet Miss Trixie did have a hand in it. She knew how nice your Momma is and that you needed a new friend.

Eh, when new kitties are in the house, that usually means they're gonna stay. Just work on your growl and accept the inevitable. Oh, and use the situation to get more crunchy treats...

Poor Mittens. I sympathize with you completely.

Oh Mittens. You truly do look upset. It'll get better we're sure. It may take some time but finally you may be friends.

I can *so* relate! Victor has ignored all my growling and hissing for almost a year now, and still INSISTS upon pouncing me. I've given up so much to him! It's NOT FAIR!

PS - there's been talk of selling younger siblings on E-bay. Let me know if you want in on the action. Mums the word!

Beautiful Mittens I understand COMPLETELY how you feel!

Now that Hope (now changed her name to Faith) is feeling better, she is all over the place. *sigh* I just dont understand why we have to subject ourselves to such nonesense. hmmmmpf.
