Deep in the Big Piney Woods is a fairy house. Mistrie loves to play with them and they love and protect her. Anyone can get fairies to stay, if they have a place for them to live. Ours is gnarly roots from a tree that toppled over eons ago, left to weather and grow moss and lichen.
Some things you need to get a fairy house started:
A stump, or piece of driftwood with places they can hide.
Mushrooms or toadstools, for tables and chairs.
Dried leaves, for flooring and to make their beds.
A quiet place, they hate noise, although they love wind chimes.
Ferns are nice; they like to hide under their shade, but not necessary.
They love flowers, especially pansies.
A gazing ball is nice, but not necessary.
You will know when they are inhabiting their house as there will be lots of butterflies around.

We are going to ask mom if we can start to fix up a fairy area in our yard! We have the perfect corner for it. Down by the lilac bushes!
Oh what an exciting place it must be by the fairy area. Does Mistrie like them? Will she tell us her adventures?
moooooooommmmmmmmmmm - please make a fairy place in our garden!!!
Hi to our bestest furriends!!!
That sounds like so much fun! I'm going to ask mommy to do that this year with the butterflies that the Meezers have. Then I'll have fairies to watch out the window as well as birdies!
I am glad Mistries has those fairies to watch over her!
Oh that's so wonderful!!! We luf it!
That's ok that you didn't read about Davy's story. It's very hard to read and to tell it.

Oh! I am going to see if I can set up a place so the fairies will come live with me, too. They are beautiful!
We ave some woods across the street. Maybe we can get some fairies to come and live in there.
Mistrie is really lucky that she has those fairies to hang around with her.
Fairies! They sound magical!
::sigh:: all we've got is a balcony. they sure are lovely though. when we get a real house, we're gonna make them a home for sure.
We think that we may have a perfect place by the forsythia bush. Then we can see from the screened-in porch too!

You can also build a fairy house using sticks, twigs and bark.
