A Day Late

Spring arrived today
The sun is high above
Days are longer still
We hear the mourning dove

Spring arrived today
Soon the geese will nest
We hear the robin's song
As the sun sets in the west

Spring arrived today
Momma says it's so
The sun is warm upon the soil
As green things start to grow

Precious, you're looking quite lovely on this first day of spring. I'm glad spring is here 'cause since I was just a baby I don't remember last spring! Now I get to see lots of birdies, chips & bunnies.

don't be fooled guys, we had spring last week and this week it's snowing. what's that all about? FAZ

p.s. this week we got a pine tree for the garden - it's not a piney wood but it's a start.

That's a bootiful poem, Precious! I wish I could write like that. We gots rain an it's not warm enuf fur open windoze but not too cold, so I guess it's Spring. The rain hides the sun an birdies!

Such a pretty face you have! It's been "spring" here since October ... Not much in the way of changes 'cept the occasional raindrop.

I enjoyed your poem furry much!

Another gorgeous picture of you with those beautiful flowers framing your purrty face. The weeping willow trees always tells us when Spring has sprung around here and it's in full bloom.

We remember last year how you were planting flowers before even we were. I bet any day now you'll be on da move and pushing things right along. Spring is here, Spring is here, the days are now so clear. Teach us dear , teach us dear, to make our path to flowers so near.

Precious, you are a very beautiful girl and we enjoyed viewing all your recent photos. Too bad about that lamp.

You wrote a beautiful poem about Spring, Precious. Spring is here, too, almost. The crabapple tree next door is just about to put out leaves and there are a few flowers up.
