The name has changed from The Calico Girls to The Big Piney Woods Cats, to include all four girls; although the url remains the same. (http://thecalicogirls.blogspot.com/) You can change your blogroll, if you like, to The Big Piney Woods Cats.
While we will all be blogging, Mittens is a senior catizen now, and needs more rest. Precious has taken over a lot of her posting duties.
Momma updated each of our profiles in the sidebar, with a short history of how we came to live here. She changed our main profile picture to an outdoor picture of the Big Piney Woods, and the name we will be using to sign comments is Big Piney Woods Cats.
We hope you like the changes. Momma hates change and it took her a long time before she finally went along with the plan. She was going to call it The Big Piney Woods Girls, but then, you never know.......maybe someboy cat will join us, someday. She says, this way, she has covered all the bases.

We like the changes too wiv the purrty pichurs an the pine cones. We haf been haffing lots uv trubble wiv blogger too. It took us since yesterday to get a new post and pichurs up.
Definitely nice changes. Your momma has done well. I had been wondering if Mistrie and Precious had been suggesting such a name change given that there were now as many non-Calico-kitties kitty as there were Calico-kitties! :)

We were wonderen when you were going to change it. Precious Flower has such a big part in yur lives now and since she isn't a calico it just din seem right. We loves the new title. Dis change makes furry good sense. Mom alwayz seded da piney woods gerls, but if yoo do add a boy cat (and we are furry good, just ask mom) piney woods cats makes a lot more sense.~Speedy
We likes it! We'd noticed that Mistrie and Precious weren't lookin furry calico. hehehe But it's hard to change a name so's we understooded. We likes the noo name tho, cuz yeah, maybee sumtime a boy kitty will come lif wif yall. Like when Pepi camed to life wif us! An we luvs yall no matter what yoo goes by :)
