UPDATE: It is fixed already! I took it in, and they weren't busy, in fact, the shop wasn't even open because of the holiday, but they took it, anyway. Put in a new power supply and within half an hour I walked out, computer all fixed! They even cleaned out all the cat hair. Oh, and gave me a warning to update my security patches. :)
My computer is down. I went to start it up, pushing the button; nothing. I am guessing it is the power supply, and will be taking it in for repairs today. I am using my old laptop to post this. However, it doesn't have any of the critical windows updates or a virus program, as it is used to balance my checking account and emergencies like this one. Hope it gets fixed quickly, as I will miss all of you.
