Patches: I have some portant news, Momma, can I have the blog, please?
Momma: Tomorrow, honey, I have to post our desktop Meme.
Wow, we finally got tagged for the desktop Meme. Thanks Karen Jo.
My desktop shows a picture overlooking Fish Lake (a mountain lake in the Panhandle National Forest) We love to hike to this spot and have a picnic lunch. I don't have any icons on the desktop except for the recyle bin. All my icons are next to the start menu, for easy, one click access. Click to biggify.
Here are the rules for the meme:
Upon receiving this tag, immediately perform a screen capture of your desktop. It is best that no icons be deleted before the screen capture so as to add to the element of fun. Here’s how you can do a screen capture:
1.Go to your desktop and press the Print Scrn key (located on the right side of the F12 key). note: On a laptop you use the Fn + prt sc keys then paste it into a graphics program.
2.Open a graphics program (like Picture Manager, Paint, or Photoshop) and doing a Paste (CTRL + V). If you wish, you can “edit” the image before saving it.
3.Post the picture on your blog. You can also give a short explanation on the look of your desktop if you want. You can explain why you prefer such a look or why it is full of icons. Things like that.
4.Tag five of your friends and ask them to give you a Free View of their desktops as well.
I tag the following blogs:

Dearest Patches Lady,
What a beautiful desktop your Mom has! You live in such a beautiful place. My Mom was out West, in Wyoming, as a little girl, and she never forgot it. It's a dream of my Mom's and Dad's to move out there someday!
Of course us Ballicai would do some fussing on the trip, but I'm sure once we all got settled we'd all love it.
I'm glad you were pleased that I posted our pictures for today! You carry my mancat heart in your lovely little paws.
Love and big rumbly purrs,

Very pretty and I think I know why Patches want to make an announcement. I think it has to do with a certain ginger boy. Right?

That is a beautiful desktop! What a gorgeous landscape. :)
My mom has her most commonly used icons next to the start button, but ones that are used less frequently are on the desktop. :)

Now that's my kind of desktop! Nothing there to block the view. (And it's a great view, too.)
Only thing I have is my trashcan at the top right of the screen.
