Monday Mews by Mittens

Beware, the friendly email card!!!
Momma got an email that said someone had sent her a card and to click on the link. She thought someone was sending her an Easter greeting, but they were sending her a Trojan Horse (is that like a vishus deer?) She said, luckily (she is too trusting) when she clicked on the link it said it had gone over it's allotted amount, and to come back later; I guess lots of people thought the same thing. She got to checking and found out what it was, did two virus scans and everything is OK. I am glad she doesn't have a virus or a horse in her computer. She says be careful about email cards, they look legitimate. She isn't going to open them anymore and she said it is a sad state of affairs.

Glad that you weren't infected or invaded by the Trojan. I will never understand the world. Give people a marvelous tool like the internet, and while some of them use it to tell the world how good their cats are, too many others use it to try to rip off other humans. I want to sink my teeth into those kind.

Glad your 'puter did not get sick. That would not be fun. Mum only opens stuff like that when she knows who sent it.

She had one at her birthday from a cousin she rarely hears from. But that was OK. Then she laughs at the ones from the "bank". Banks she hasn't even heard of. "please confirm your very personal data".

NO WAY. Stay safe.

Oh no! That's horrible. I'm glad the horse didn't end up in your computer. My mom and I both receive e-cards all the time, but we only open then when they are from someone we know. Scary that the one you received looked legitimate!

Thanks for the warning, this is very serious indeed. If bugs and horses can get into our computers, maybe vishus deer are next!

Hello BPW cats... (that's short for Big Piney Woods).

Whew... that was a close call with the computer trojan virus horse thingy.

We are so glad your computer is OK with no horsies in it. Our Lady just ran those virus scans this morning because our computer was being slow but it was OK.

And that is quite a lovely picture of you.

We are furry careful. DKM uses Blue Mountain an my woman uses it now, too, but I guard the puter room closely just in case.
Patches, if you figure out how to avoid Precious pounces, let me know! Same if I figure out Victor. He charges right up in my face! Youngsters these days haf no respect.
