Whose Fault Was It?

I was helping Momma with our blog today. I guess I hit the wrong key because boxes came hurling out of cyberspace, all over the screen. Momma moved my head off the offending keys, and when she did that, she hit something on the table that made a scary noise, and I freaked. I dug my hind claws deep into her thigh and flew away. She said the bad "darn it" word as I jumped to safety. Now, whose fault was it I drew blood; mine or hers? I say hers, she should know better than to interrupt me when I am blogging. Just look at my picture; you can tell I am innocent.

But, I am sorry I scratched you Momma.

I feels bad when I makes her bleed. But it's ok, 'cause your momma is nice and you're momma's girl, so she will haf no prollems forgifing you. - Sammy

You were just following your natural in-stink. But it's always good to apologize anyway.

We have the same problem here. As a large boy, I frequently scrub out on Mum leaving little pin pricks all over her legs. That's bad enough, but since she's on Warfarin, she bruises as well so she looks like a vampire's love doll. (her phrase). just the penalty of living with kitties. the beans know it's (usually) unintentional, though.

P.S. You are WAY too nice a kitty to be punished!

Now see, you feel bad...when I draw blood, I'm kinda proud of it. In fact, the other night the Younger Human wouldn't put me down, so I raked him with my back paws. He bleeded, and I grinned, 'cause I won!
