News

This morning blogger was down when I tried to post. Went to the Spokane Eye Clinic and got a good report. Tomorrow I am going to get fitted for glasses! Hopefully, I can get them the same day.

Mittens is all settled in. I have given her the bathroom and walk in closet for now. I will leave her in there for a little while. Patches missed her, and, although she can be so snarky to her, she asked to come in, and then gave her a kitty kiss; Mittens was happy to see her and gave her one back.

I have to make changes as far as feeding. Mittens special diet is just for her, and she can't have stinky goodness again (if it is truly a food allergy.) Patches is getting heavy, so maybe I will wean her off from it too. It doesn't seem fair somehow to give one and not the other. When Mittens comes out, all food will have to be put up and special feeding times adheared to. It is going to take some getting used to.

Furry happy to hear that there's good news for CalicoMom and CalicoMittens. :)

So cute that Patches missed Mittens so much that she gave her 'welcome home' kitty kisses. :)

Good mews for all! Any cat can adjust to a change in diet, eventually. I can't imagine how Mom would keep me outa Bonnie's food or vice-a-versa. What's Precious eatin? I had kitten kibbles but Bonnie was eatin them sumtimes an they was too rich fur her tummy. Hope yur glasses werk out, too.

Ya fink Bonnie would gif me a kiss if I'd been gone? Yeah, right, more like a hiss.

Oh, Mittens! The indignity of it all! I got fed up wif them an gave em a piece of my mind. I lunged at one of the beans in pajamas an made my ivy come loose. They sent me home acause I was prolaly more stressed at the vet than I'd be at home. But that's cuz it was the merge-y vet, not my reglar vet. She's okay an respects a feline's feelins.

Know what else? My woman left the tight fing wrapped round my paw (bandage) too long an it hurt an swelled! She was aposed to take it off soon's we got home, but they didn't tell her that!

All I can say is, if I haf to choose atween Victor an that mergey vet, I choose Victor. But don't tell HIM that!
Purrs!

I'm so glad Mittens is feelin' better. Too bad on the stinky goodness. But then, I've never had stinky goodness, so I dunno. But I've heard about it.
