Momma Is Sick

Momma says she has something called "Cabin Fever." She looks OK, but she keeps looking out the window wishing. I akst her whut she wuz wishing furr. She said, "spring." I think, Momma, that spring cums on the March 21st, that is whut Patches told me. So, seems to me, she has a ways to go. In the meantime, she brough home a whole bunch of lilac colored stuff. She got rugs and towels in the bafroom a purty lilac color, and then she bought me a new bedspread........see....

Newsbreak: About 5:30 AM this morning my husband was looking out the window and saw a bright yellow ball, followed by a tail, falling from the Western sky. It is all over the Spokane, Washington news, and has been seen in a 600 mile radius. In Walla Walla, Washington, southwest of Spokane a man said his whole house lit up. Others are reporting their homes shook. It was seem as far East as Montana, as far North as Canada, and into Oregon. Maybe Chey and Gemini saw it??? Calicomom Toni

We wonder what that fing in the sky wuz. Mum sez several years ago she wuz outdoors talking to some furrends, and it wuz neerly dark. They could hear a strange roaring noise, then a big fireball fing went across the sky and it lit efurryfing up like daylight. She sed it wuz skeery.

How cool to see something like that!! Once in a lifetime thing!
Your bedspread and the lavender stuff sounds nice. A good way to freshen up the house while waiting for spring!

Oh Precious, you have your own bedspread! It's beautiful, just like you!

We didn't hear anything about that strange light in the sky, but we'll check the news.

I saw it visiting Mistrie! It was awesome! I'm glad it didn't fall on us. That would be worse than snow falling off the roof. Somecat tell Mom I'll be coming home tomorrow.

DKM had the same thing - we thought the sunshine would cure her last weekend, but the rain is back today and so is her 'cabin fever'.

That is a very beautiful bedspread, purples are momma and my favorite color. Momma just bought a new one for our bed too! It is purple, green and gold. I like it, it is very royal so I look good laying on it. We are going to go check out the commit thing! ~Queen Snickers

Was it that rocket that the news people said maybe has spy stuff that somebody wants to blow up before it crashes down someplace and scares or hurts something?

Anyway, that quilt is very pretty...and the kitty on top of it is gorgeous! Sweet picture Precious Flower.

Wow, I wonder what that ball was!

Very pretty bedspread, Precious Flower, especially with you on it!

Oh wowie, a big flash in the sky. Nothing like that here.

Mum can agree with cabin fever even though we don't have a cabin. She is calling it 'snow fatigue'. Too much snow and cold. Can't spend much time outside and if you are you are messing with snow.

Just a little things like filling the birdie feeders takes so much time every day. But that she says is fun.

No we did not see it! Momma was up at work so she was inside about that time... I wonder if Miss Peach saw it?

Mom says that is a very pretty color. We don't care so much - hehe. That ball of fire sounds interesting - was she listening to Jerry Lee Lewis at the time?
