Answers??

Daisy asked a very interesting question in my post on "Things are Afusing." She was wondering where time goes when it flies by. We know we have places we go.......the litterbox, the food bowl, the sleeping places, the hidey holes, some of us go in the Out, or up on the counters (which gets the NO word in our house.) Patches gets to go out on the upper deck. But there is not one furrless one, or kitty or woofy, for that matter, that can tell me where time goes. I know there is an hour that hides in the clocky. I think, prolly, time is up in the trees, with the birdies, that's what I think.

That's a very good question, Precious Flower. No one really know where time goes. It's very odd.

Time is confusing, and sneaky, too! It slips right away from you if you are not careful.

Time flies, time slips, time runs out...

That is a very profound question Precious Flower. My mom says when she was a young teen bean she came up with a "theory of time" and this is it. "Time is relative to the degree of perfection in pleasure. If pleasure could be perfected to an ultimate degree then time, or at least our cognizance of it, would cease to exist." Even though that sounds a lot like "time flys when you're having fun" it really means time only flys in that milisecond when funness stops. We cat's are experts in creating pleasure for ourselves and our people so as long as that lasts there is no time...right?

Precious,
I thinks that the fairies collect it and save it for safe keeping. They give it back when we want to remember something. Like when you came for a visit and we ate all the crab. But, being playful, they refuse to give it back when the beans can't remember where they left the keys!

I think you maybe right about the trees, if it flies it would make sense that would be up there with the birdies. Does anyone know a birdie we could ask if they perhaps have seen time roosting near by?

Don't know where it flies to, but it never seems to come back!

Precious, I think Sandy Denny wondered that some thing a million years ago!

I don't know where time flies to when it goes, but I do know that it doesn't come back, except for that hour that hides in the clocky. Maybe it is up in the trees with the birdies.
