Advantages of being a calico
by Patches Lady
You can nap on any color and leave furs that can't be seen.
You are always a girl (well 95% of the time) so you don't have to answer, is it a boy or a girl.
You all look different, no two are the same.
You can have calicotude and not explain why.
You can hide in clothes cuz you are camouflaged.
I bet there are advantages to your coloring. Tell us about them.
Patches,
ReplyDeleteYou are right! I loves being a calico!

My Lady used to have a calico kitty. She would like to have another one again sometime.
ReplyDeleteI love being a calico. There is an old superstition that it's very lucky to have a calico in your house.
ReplyDeletethat's pretty cool! our mommy loves our colors so much that our house is now mostly meezer colors!
ReplyDeleteYou are very right, Patches. Calicos look beautiful on anything.
ReplyDeleteBest thing about being a tuxie is that if human is wearing light or dark colours... your fur will always show.
ReplyDeletePlus we are always dressed for any special event... and lobster.
as dk and the fluffies said, wearing a tux means that at the drop of a hat i can go to dinner with the Queen. (um, Mom, what's a Queen??) and crab legs (we don't like lobster). my Mom used to have a calico kitty who was also very pretty like you girls
ReplyDeleteWe'z tuxies so we'z always dressed up even tho we'z also furry comfturbul. Zippy sez she can act nuts cuz da beans always say crazy calico anyway...
ReplyDeleteI love being a dilute calico, you made a great list Patches. I like that word "Calicotude" too. I think I have calicotude.
ReplyDeleteMom can hug me in the middle of a hunting day if she's wearing black too. I like that.
ReplyDeleteMe, Tipper & Misty all match our Dad in coloring. Gray & white!
ReplyDeleteBeing black has helped me. I lay on the black bag that the staff has...even the dog runs by and doesn't see me...
ReplyDeleteAlso when I am slinking across the lawn in the grass...my black color doesn't seem to stand out, so I can sneak up on the birds at the feeder. Unless the staff catches me.
