We LOVE that, and Mom has used that a lot with tummy trouble kitties. She had a kitty swallow the lifting cord to a turkey, and after his surgery, that was one of the things they started him out on. You can also mix it with baby cereal, if you want a little more filler and calories. Mom also says boiled chicken is also a kitty pleaser.

We are purring that Squirt will be feeling better soon.Motor Home Catshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16651108448042750552noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20047381.post-64234922242254510232011-06-24T18:50:49.785-07:002011-06-24T18:50:49.785-07:00I think like those who have had cats with tummy tr...I think like those who have had cats with tummy troubles come back slowly to eating normally. She started eating and then she was very picky and it was very small amounts and for awhile mostly it was the bonito flake treats but I just wanted her to have calories. After about two months she was "normal" although after the first week I think she started eating "better" even if her appetite was off. I think you are probably about normal for the eating but if you are worried, have the vet check her over and check a temp to be sure there is no infection going on.

I'll set the kitties to purring that this is just normal healing process--but even if Chey is unusual in how long it took her to heal she shows it's possible to take time to get back to normal!Gemini and Ichirohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01102088688833145254noreply@blogger.com
