Momma puts on a strange outfit, with kitties all over the front on it, she calls it a "scrub" and says it is to protect us. When she comes home, she doesn't even say "hi" but rushes upstairs to change. I can still smell something, though. It smells like other cats! Is she two-timng us?~Patches Lady~
Uh-oh, we hate to say this, but we think she is two-timing you. But we have a suspicion it might be for a good cause.

ReplyDeleteThat's just what my Mommie does! She leaves her shoes in the garage, and then rushes right up and strips off her scrubs and washes her arms real good up to her elbows. I am always trying to sniff her, but she won't let me!

Yup, your Momma is seeing other kitties, but don't worry about it. She loves you just as much as ever. She's just helping other kitties and she rushes to change her clothes so you won't get any cooties that the other kitties may have.

She is not two timing she is just sharing the love like a good kitty person should do.
Scrubs are great. I went to the thrift store and bought a whole bunch when I started volunteering. No worrying about ruining your good clothes with little claw holes, or poop or throw up or being covered with cat hair when you're at home.
