This morning it was disgustingly late (4:35 AM) and the Furless Ones had been napping for hours. It was way past feeding time. (Momma has to put my food up in the night, so Mittens doesn't sneak downstairs and eat any.) Momma had her hand hanging off the side of the bed, so I licked it and she just put it under the covers, then I licked Daddy's eyebrow. I went downstairs and did my famous "get up" yowl! For five minutes I did this, finally I went back upstairs, thinking they were surely dead! Momma came around at 5:30 and fed us, by this time I was a complete rack of bones!! I was so emancipated my face was hollow and I felt weak and shaky. See how hollow my cheeks are.....~Patches Lady~
Poor Patches. I know how you feel with all the babysitting my mom's doing.She sometimes forgets my food

Patches, those are the chubbiest hollow cheeks I haf efer seen. But I sympathize... feeling hungry is no joking matter at all. Beans need to be a lot more disciplined wif delivering our food punctually.

Patches, you can over anytime. We have our early breakfast (stinky goodness kind) around 1:30 am. And, we have extra bowls.

ReplyDeleteMy mom's laughin' her head off, but poor Patches, I'm so sorry you had to get all emancipated and whatnot! Beans should know to get up when we kiss their hands or their faces so we don't have to get all ornery and start yellin' at 'em!

ReplyDeleteOh poor Patches. Merlin knows just how you feel. He gets all skinny and hollow too waitin on his stinky goodness. We don't know where we are going yet, but the pacific northwest is on Mom's list of maybes 'cause she likes it there alot. It's goin to be where daddy 'bean gets a job though~poiland tribe
