That Didn't Hurt

I dug my hind claw deep into Momma's leg today. I was on her lap working on our blog and started to slip; what is a girl to do? She yelled, "OUCH," really loud. They are so thin skinned. I purred nice to her, though, and she doesn't seem mad or anything. You can see how sweet I am, also notice the tatoo under my chin.

    This is very similar to what happened to Derby. And as I said to him... jeesh... humans are just so persnickity. One little bite or one little scratch and they get all up in your face kind of thing.

    Your Mom knows it was an accident, Mittens. She wouldn't get mad at you for that. It's a natural reaction for a cat to use claws to keep from slipping.

    We are just playful and sometimes our claws or teeth just get to sensitive parts of our beans. Mum didn't hold my bitey against me, your mum won't hold this against you.
