A Day Late

Spring arrived today
The sun is high above
Days are longer still
We hear the mourning dove

Spring arrived today
Soon the geese will nest
We hear the robin's song
As the sun sets in the west

Spring arrived today
Momma says it's so
The sun is warm upon the soil
As green things start to grow

  2. Precious, you're looking quite lovely on this first day of spring. I'm glad spring is here 'cause since I was just a baby I don't remember last spring! Now I get to see lots of birdies, chips & bunnies.

  10. Such a pretty face you have! It's been "spring" here since October ... Not much in the way of changes 'cept the occasional raindrop.

I enjoyed your poem furry much!

Another gorgeous picture of you with those beautiful flowers framing your purrty face. The weeping willow trees always tells us when Spring has sprung around here and it's in full bloom.

  14. We remember last year how you were planting flowers before even we were. I bet any day now you'll be on da move and pushing things right along. Spring is here, Spring is here, the days are now so clear. Teach us dear , teach us dear, to make our path to flowers so near.
