Oh, it was the most citing night of all. Momma opened the door to feed Mistrie. Patches and I were sitting there, hoping for a handout. Mistrie saw us and came to the door; Momma opened it, and she came in! Yes, all the way! She has the loudest motor I have efur heard and she purred and purred while both Patches and I took turns nose touching, kissing, getting the smells of the Big Piney Woods from her fur. Momma didn't let her stay long, something about not wanting to start a cat fight. (She was talking about Patches.) It was a joyous thing!

ReplyDeleteThat's wonderful! It was probably good that she didn't stay long--that way she knows she can get back out if there's a problem. She seems to like her independence.
ReplyDeleteYEAH!
That is wonderful! *paw clapping!* I agree with Cheysuli. Maybe each time she comes in she'll stay longer and even sweet Patches will get used to having her there each time. That is fantastic news! *tail twitchy happily*
ReplyDeleteOh congratulations!!! Maybe one day she will want to be an indoor kitt!!!

That is great to hear, Precious. Maybe Mistrie sees how good you have it inside and is thinking about it very hard.
ReplyDeleteShe is such a beautiful lady cat, too. And she purrs loudly, too -- I like that in a cat.

This is so exciting! This is so exciting! This is so exciting! :D
ReplyDeleteIts so good that Mistrie came in for a visit! We worry about her being out in the cold. Maybe she'll come to know that it can be good to sleep inside when its cold outside. But, sleeping under the stars in the summer must just be the best.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure that my girl would be happy to share the kitty tree with her. :)
---Beezie

Oops. Meant to say "yours" not "your" ... my cat's a better typist than I am.
ReplyDeleteHurray! How wonderful! Maybe now she'll decide to be an indoor girl. Or at least, an outdoor girl with options!
ReplyDeleteThis is great and wonderful news. I am so glad that Mistrie came inside, met the other cats and even purred. I hope she will come in and visit every night.
