Mia and Ghost said that their inspiration to blog came from Prince Muddy Paws and Timmy. Edsel said his was Max's site. Mom says her inspiration came after visiting Timmy's site, also.(She doesn't know how she got there, but then, she can't remember where she parks the car.) Anyway, from there she found a lot of other cat blogger's links and went to all of them, decided she was tired of working on her website, and the rest is history. So........how did you get involved in cat blogging? Do you remember whose blog you visited first?

The first one we actually visited was Muddy's blog. Mom was searching on cats (and cat shows) in Alabama & found him through that. Then we found Timmy and everyone else....
ReplyDeleteTimmy was also a huge reason, along with Max. Timmy actually mentioned me in a dream after i had joined the Tuxedo gang, but didn't have a blog yet. so Timmy really made me do it. Max was the first cat blog i discovered.
ReplyDeleteOur Mommy found The Mows comic through, believe it or not, a computer comics group she belongs to. There was a link on there to Max's blog, and she went there, and then visited all the links he had. She showed us the pikshurs and read them to us, so we begged and begged for 3 whole months before she let us have our own blog.
ReplyDeleteMax was the first one we found, too. He's an inspiration to a lot of us blogging cats. Then we looked at all his links and saw Wm., Timmy and everyone. Now our community is huge!!
ReplyDeleteWe found blogging the same way that the meezers did (The Mows-but on comics.com). The mom likes the Psychokitty Max 'cause the cat that came before me was nicknamed psychokitty.
ReplyDeleteWe used to read the Mows for a long time, then one day we found the link to Max the Psychokitty,then we started looking at the kitty blogs linked on Max's blog. Then I bullied my mum into letting me start my own blog!

ReplyDeleteThe first blog I found was Prince Muddy Paws. He lead me to New Cat City and Jasper McKitten-Cat. Jasper then lead me to Little Cat Feet. After reading all of their entries, I was inspired to start a blog of my own. Right about that time we started thinking about adopting another kitten.
ReplyDeleteOur mommy has been blogging for quite a while. She recently got daddy into blogging too and then she discovered all these wonderful cat blogs. So she thought maybe we could have a blog too. I say it's about time! We're still getting started.
ReplyDeleteWe were searching about what kind of stinky goodness to feed us or just crunchies and our Mom found Avram's New Cat City blog. Then we met all these furry nice people who welcomed us to the cat blogging community. Mom still doesn't quite know what to feed us though! Now Daddy has his own blog too bout econonominincs. We don't understands his blog.
ReplyDeleteMom actually had the cat blog idea first then found bunches of others afterward. She thought it was a unique idea until she saw how many others there were already. We think that the first ones we found were Muddy, Timmy, and Deep. Mom's not real smart about computers and we got lots of great help from some of you which we deeply appreciate.
ReplyDeleteMy Cat Couch started to look for cat blogs because she knew of three dog blogs. Then she told me that I could have my own blog. My first-ever post is about it. For awhile my Cat Couch's friends and those same dogs visited my blog. I looked for other cat blogs and started to comment on them. GiglioKitty was the first cat to comment on my blog.
ReplyDeleteGK pretty much decided he wanted his own blog and that was that. We didn't know much about cat blogs then. Moses Kitty was the first kitty we met and made friends with online.

ReplyDeleteThe first blog I found was New Cat City. I learned alot from Avram and applaud his discovery of life with cats. It took me awhile to find other cat blogs and I when I finally got a digital camera zoom we were off. Now I have literally 1000's of digital images of my boys and girls.
ReplyDeletemom found Oreo's blog and decided she would let us blog too. We have to share with the other 4 leggers around here sometimes but mostly its just our blog.
